The successful US global AIDS program.

AHF members urge Congress to honor AIDS funding commitment Five AIDS treatment clients and medical care providers from Uganda are visiting Washington, DC for some over 50 meetings this week about Capitol Hill with Senate and Congressional leaders to lobby Congress to honor the All of us’ landmark commitment to PEPFAR , the successful US global AIDS program Synthroid online . The combined group, all of whom are treatment customers or medical healthcare providers of AIDS Health care Foundation , which provides AIDS medical care to more than 138,000 people in 23 countries worldwide, will lobby Congress to improve PEPFAR funding to make sure that financing for PEPFAR’s lifesaving initiatives comes closer to the full $48 billion authorized by Congress in 2008; to desire legislators to demand accountability so that PEPFAR countries operate their AIDS treatment programs in the most cost effective methods by reducing the amount permitted to be spent on overhead and bureaucracy; and to instantly get rid of caps on the amount of people allowed in PEPFAR-funded treatment programs in hard-hit countries like Uganda and somewhere else.
